Weingut Nick Köwerich

Wine maketh glad the heart of man
Vines have been cultivated in the Mosel region of Germany for over 1,700 years. Today, the gently meandering Mosel River sparkles like a bright blue ribbon weaving its way through a landscape of high crags, rolling hills and steeply sloping vineyards. The grapes grown here are predominantly Riesling, “The Queen of White Grapes,” and it is for these wines that the Mosel region is best known. Like many of the wineries here, Weingut Nick Köwerich boasts a long tradition and presence in the region. The Köwerich family has lived in the village of Leiwen for seven generations. Today, the family wine business is run by Nick and Annette Köwerich.
